KODYS Presented ‘Bugsy Malone’

Wednesday 28th to Friday 28th June 2013
at the Rose Theatre Kidderminster

Director: Jill Parmenter
Musical Director: Russel Painter
Choreographer: Molly Parmenter

KODYS are delighted to present its third full–scale musical production, Bugsy Malone, at the Rose Theatre. A slapstick musical comedy following the rivalry between two half–witted street gangs and the washed up, well–intentioned, one–time boxer who steps in to take control of Fat Sam’s gang and give Dandy Dan and his boys what they’ve got coming. The message is one of good, clean fun, the characters are wonderful 1920′s cartoon cut–outs and the weapons of choice are ‘splurge’ whip cream guns, flour bombs, and custard pies. The music will have you singing along, with many memorable favourites, My Name is Tallulah, Fat Sam’s Grand Slam and the wonderful Finale , You Give a Little Love.
